Yes yes my camera is amazing if a tad on the gigantic side!! LOL noo record plates are old school, now you can only 'find' them, literally, like at some attic thrift store for a dollar, or garage sale where the sell items from the deceased, and well you can get vinyls at disc stores because DJs use them. I would buy them because they are so hip, but man it is sooo impossible to find a record player!! I don't know if I can get a working one under a hundred dollars, except on ebay and I don't trust ebayers.

The questions that's popped in my mind and begged to be asked is what songs would you buy ?
I know there are some of those they called 'evergreen' songs which would be if not popular at least well known, but buying a record and a record player...
That would need some money to do, more so if you're a collector.
I'd know, as a collector of books... You'd need money AND space...
Err, getting off-tangent for a while there. ^^;
Repeating the question, what music from that era of records would you still be interested in anyway ?

hmm actually, because there is little or no demand for them, records are cheaper than bread. And there are even records of modern songs and artists! In this particular store, there were a lot of modern latin artists, hip-hop and R&B artists too, like Toni Braxton, Celia Cruz, J-lo, LL Coll J.... ect... among classic. I guess it's all where you look.

I'd personally buy some jazz, like Miles Davis or anything really that was jazz, and that was probably played in 1950's coffee shops or listened to by beatniks. and Bob Marley. I'd also buy soundtracks, they had the Rocky Horror picture show that'd be cool to own on vinyl. Also 80's pop hits for sure!

I saw this movie once, Ghost World, the main character would buy records from this guy's sale. She bought this really old school bollywould record and listens to this song that I think would be so awesome if I had that on a record, it sound slike music you listen to while hoola-hooping. Only I'm not even sure I know what language it's in. I bet they have a ghost world record though, I'd get that and listen to the song by Mohammad Raafi ---> [link]

Is it ?
Hmmm, strange that they still make new records while the records itself aren't selling.

Ah, jazz, is it ?
The same with your personality, I guess, alive. :)
